BMCM´s 250th Jubilee Meeting

In May 2012 we will have our 250th Anniversary meeting at Koos en Els Groenewold´s home in Middelstum. Without any interruption, every third Saturday of the month a meeting was organised for riders of British Bikes.

In the 20 years of it's existence the BMCM has become an icon for British Bike Riders in the Netherlands and beyond. Not only because of it's "cozy"and nice meetings, but also because of the biker-parties, mostly in July, and often supported by a rockabilly band with sleeping bags on a row in the barn behind the clubhouse.

The 250th meeting will be a special event. We hope for a reunion of the now somewhat aged fans of the first years along with the younger generation of riders.

The third Saturday in May will be in Ascension weekend; the program however will start on Friday the 18th of May, with a guided tour through the country. On Saturday, Jubilee Day, of course the ride in, a bikeshow for Brit Bikes only where prices can be won, a BBQ, party with live-music and during the day the possibility to make a guided tour trough the country. On Sunday, there is of course also a British Breakfast available before leaving.

As always there's sleeping facilities available in the barn and yard, and even some (free) real bed's (only after reservation: phone +31-595-552592). There's also campgrounds in the surroundings of Middelstum, or in any other case, hotels or B&B, homestay's etc. You might find an overview of this at the bottom of this page.

For this Jubilee Meeting a special souvenir will be made, available for all visitors.

We hope that Middelstum will be "flooded"by British Bikes and their Riders.
